Applications of Blogs to My Classroom

As a future middle grades math and science teacher, I will be able to use blogs in my classroom in a variety of ways. The goal of blogging is to enhance the students educational experience. It is the hope that the blog could be used as a tool to foster creative thinking, research skills, and technology skills. I think the students will be more interested in creating a blog rather than a standard research paper and will put more effort into project. Blogs can be a win-win for everyone involved. It can assist the teachers by allowing the students to help "teach" each other, as well as provide a more interesting learning environment for the students.
